Common questions
Do you replace my accountant?
No. We work alongside your accountant. They handle your returns and compliance, and we advise on legal structures, transactions and disputes.
I disagree with a tax assessment. What can I do?
You may be able to lodge an objection, but strict time limits apply. Contact us promptly so your rights are protected.
Can you brief counsel?
Yes. When a matter calls for a barrister's opinion or advocacy, such as a complex technical question or a dispute heading to the Administrative Review Tribunal or the Federal Court, we brief experienced tax counsel. We prepare the brief, work alongside counsel and remain your point of contact throughout, keeping you informed and costs under control.
